I'd like to just try things out first – is that possible?
Of course! In my Etsy shop you'll find individual outlines to try out. As a member, you also get a discount on all Etsy products. This way you can test, with no obligation, whether you enjoy painting with my templates.
I'm not sure whether this is for me.
Simply start for free as a follower. You get access to selected templates and can try all the free guided painting sessions – with no obligation at all. This way you can find out at your own pace whether the Atelier is right for you.
How do I transfer the outlines to my watercolor paper?
Print the outline on regular copy paper, shade the back with a pencil, place the sheet shaded-side down on your watercolor paper and trace the lines from the front. The contours transfer cleanly onto your paper. Even easier: with Atelier Plus you receive the outlines ready-printed on premium cotton watercolor paper, delivered to your home.
Do I need any prior experience?
No. In my painting sessions I guide you and we let the colors flow together. You don't need any experience – just the desire to pick up a brush.
Which colors do I need to get started?
Ideally the ones whose tones speak to you right away. I paint by feeling rather than following a fixed standard palette. Pick colors that appeal to you – in the painting sessions you'll see how I mix my tones, and you'll gradually find your own style.
Which materials do I need to join in?
To start, a watercolor paint set, a few brushes and watercolor paper are all you need. In every painting session I show you which materials I use. With Atelier Plus, the matching outlines on premium cotton paper are already included – all you need is paint and brushes.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. All memberships can be canceled monthly, with no minimum term and no hidden costs.
I'm joining in the middle of a Nature Palette – can I still get earlier outlines?
Yes! All previous outlines from the current volume are available individually in my Etsy shop. So you can join at any time and catch up on missed motifs.
What happens when a Nature Palette volume is finished?
Then we move seamlessly on to the next volume. Volume 1 is followed by Volume 2, then Volume 3 – so as an Atelier Plus member you receive at least 30 printed outlines per year. You won't get bored.
