Motifs from a New Garden

Motifs from a New Garden

Hello,

over the past few weeks I have often thought about how Nature Palette Vol. 1 - A New Garden actually came to be. It didn't start with the idea for a course or a collection of painting sessions. It began with my first own garden. Many of the flowers that are now part of Nature Palette I watched grow there myself for the very first time. I observed how the first leaves unfold, how colors change in the light, or how certain blossoms suddenly define the whole garden.

That's why the hollyhocks, the daylilies, the magnolia, the cosmos or now the lily of the valley are not just "motifs" to me. They are memories of particular moods of light, scents, colors and moments. Perhaps that is why I love painting flowers so much – I have always perceived the world very intensely. Colors, shapes and moods often stay with me for a long time. When I paint, I can sort and hold on to all these impressions.

For me, painting is not just a hobby or a finished picture at the end of a process. It is focus, calm and a way of taking good care of myself. And that is exactly how the Atelier came to be. A quiet creative place for people who don't want to paint perfectly, but want to be creative regularly – without pressure, without feeling overwhelmed and without a blank page.

That's why in the Atelier you won't just find finished pictures, but a guided process:

  • in-depth painting sessions
  • hand-painted outlines on watercolor paper
  • coordinated color palettes
  • swatch cards for testing your colors
  • and new botanical motifs every week

The early bird discount runs until the end of May. If you have been thinking about joining the Atelier for a while, now is a good time to get started.

And before I say goodbye, here is a little preview of next week's motif:

Iris germanica – an elegant violet with soft transitions, deep shadows and luminous layers of color. I am very much looking forward to painting this blossom together with you.

Warm wishes

Valeria
